Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all pupose flour
  • 14 oz. chicken broth
  • 4 chicken breast, cooked and cut
  • 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cooked wild rice
  • 1 1/2 cups of half and half milk

Directions

  • cook until tender carrots, celery, and mushrooms in hot butter over medium heat
  • stir in flour, and broth, chicken, wild rice, salt and pepper
  • cook until bubbly and slightly thickened
  • stir in half and half
