Chicken and Wild Rice Chowder

Ingredients
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all pupose flour
- 14 oz. chicken broth
- 4 chicken breast, cooked and cut
- 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
- 1 cup cooked wild rice
- 1 1/2 cups of half and half milk
Directions
- cook until tender carrots, celery, and mushrooms in hot butter over medium heat
- stir in flour, and broth, chicken, wild rice, salt and pepper
- cook until bubbly and slightly thickened
- stir in half and half
