1- Box White Cake mix
1- 8 oz. Softened Cream Cheese
1-3 oz. Cherry Gelatin
1 ½ C Boiling Water
1-20 oz. can of Cherry pie filling
1-16 oz. of Cool Whip
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix cake according to the directions on box
Pour into greased 13X9 baking dish,
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool on wire rack for 15min.,
In the meantime: boil 1 ½ cups water and dissolve gelatin in it.
Using a wooden spoon handle, poke holes in cake and slowly
pour gelatin over cake. Cool for 15 min, cover and refrigerate
for 30 min.
In large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth,
fold in Cool Whip and carefully spread over cake and top with
pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!!!
