Ingredients

  • 2 Frozen deep-dish pie shells
  • 16-oz (1 bottle) Karo Dark Syrup
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 4 cups pecans

Directions

Note: Do not use mixer; mix well by hand.

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Mix syrup, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and butter.
  • Pour mixture in the two unbaked pie shells.
  • Put two cups of pecans in each pie.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until the crust of your pie shell is golden brown.
